welcome to the first volume of cultural tidbits that have shaped me.

each piece will contain 3 things (films, quotes, songs, things people have said to me, things that have happened to me, books, events, people, etc) that have impacted me in some profound way. something akin to this.
this series will be a part of my paid tier, along with full moon reflections and tarot intelligence, and will be released on the NEW MOON.
you can also recommend this is what a witch thinks about, or make a small donation to support my work - both these things will get you 3 months free. there is so many of you paying now, I wanted to offer more to my angels who are helping me make my dreams come true, and wanting to pay for my work.
the rest of my writing will remain free. I love you all xoxo
I have also released a video for the new moon Aries solar eclipse where I am talking about the energy coming through and pulling some guidance cards xo

  1. maribou state (a music show)

I’m not really sure what to say about the night of the 28 of feb when the pisces feminine feminine entered the dark moon and showered blue magic over me. I didn’t really want to go to the gig cause I felt like threading through a huge crowd might just kill me but recently, I am trying to transcend that fear cause nothing will inject you with life (all of it) like people.

we headed out at 7.30pm. ra is usually in bed at 7 and we are usually in our creative circles but tonight we were going out into the waning light; into the sultry night where lovers take cover, smoke, and hold each other tight. I saw three dead possums, one after another, and said, death is in the air. transformation. can we lean into it? my hero’s journey is to go through that which I do not want to go through. portals look scary and dark and who knows where they lead.

the crowd was overwhelming on the st kilda foreshore and the sky spun pink fairy floss and the temperature was a perfect jacket and my body wanted to dance. I looked at all the kids dressed sexy like chocolate liquorice, all on their phones, all trying to scout the best place to have the best time but there is no better place to enjoy anything then where you’re standing right now. I ran into an old friend I hadn’t seen in 20 years and was enjoying that closeness with a friend that never becomes a stranger, when the guys grabbed us and said it’s starting. we moved with the pattern of the crowd and the lights went off and the music curled around me. we can manipulate the energy around us with our song, our dance, our creativity; like witches and fairies with the natural elements of the world - we are energy weavers.

I watched talulah ruby on the big screen, pulling me in with her everything, putting a spell on us, singing them fairy angel spiritual vibes and moving our hips with her hands and I realised my power witnessing her power and I marvelled at the movement of men who, stepping into their feminine of creativity and play, sensuality and flow, love and death, are realising the balancing lies, for now, with the deep feminine. they put their queens at the forefront to connect and unleash the flower psyche onto the world. I’m high and I’m all over this - could there be a sexier movement? can you feel it? in between your legs?

  1. my best mate, T (a spiritual insight)

when my mate was pregnant I went and visited her. she told me a story of her crossing the road on her light, with a car wanting to turn left. as she made her way across the road, slowly and full of life, he stuck his head out the window and screamed at her -
