all's fair in love and war

sometimes, I see me as you do.
long hair streaked with grey
and tipped golden at the ends.

soft fallen breasts,
beautiful in nature
beautiful in nurture.

a curve from the nose
to the thigh
a thickening of a waistline

to a hipline
a mother touch
has been stamped on my marrow.

how lucky to have been
a body for you
and a body for you

one of you cracks me open
the other draws me close
all’s fair in love and war.

skin darkened by summer
clothes baring warm flesh
when I see me as you do,

I spread my legs.
